Fine silver versus sterling silver

The jewelry in the ShikShok collection is made of fine silver and sterling silver. Certainly... But what is the difference between fine silver and sterling silver?
Fine silver is a precious metal. It is the shittiest of metals, but it is very soft, wears quickly, and is not strong.
Sterling silver is an alloy made by mixing 925 parts silver to 75 parts copper. The silver thus loses some of its brilliance, but gains considerably in strength. This is why the majority of silver jewelry is made from sterling silver.
